Autumn Update 08-14-09

Well really we might as well say 5 mos. as she turns it on the 24th of Aug. Just thought I would give everyone an update.

She gives off such big smiles now, uses her whole body and face crinkling when she smiles and sometimes depending on what she is smiling at or why, she will give out a big loud laugh, and she is now starting to reach out for objects and grab them and hold onto them well enough to explore them or put them in her mouth. I am getting my hair pulled on a daily basis and she always gets Dad’s eye glasses, he is learning the hard way, ha ha ha. Yesterday I took her outside and she was staring very intently at our front yard tree, so I took her over to let her grab some leaves, well after she grabbed them she realized they moved, so she was more intent on staring at the limb moving from her grasp then what she had in her hand making it move, ha ha ha ha

It is so neat watching her bring her world together in her brain and starting to explore it.

She is doing tummy time well and we are working on rolling over both directions, she has only done a roll in one direction once or twice so far.

DROOLING, OMG, lots of that and lots of fingers in the mouth, but no teeth yet.

She is a little over 12lbs. now and breast feeding for both her and I are still going well.

She loves interacting with her Elmo Live doll, best investment so far I have made out of everything I have purchased.
